MATERIALS & CARE
Our pieces are crafted in solid 14k gold and designed for everyday wear. Unlike plated jewelry, solid gold won’t tarnish or fade over time. Your piece may naturally develop subtle marks and character with daily wear (we like to think it adds a little personality).
To maintain a brighter, more polished finish, we recommend avoiding harsh chemicals, perfumes, lotions, and excessive moisture when possible. Store your jewelry in a soft pouch or jewelry box when not in use. Clean gently with warm water and mild dish soap, then polish with a soft cloth as needed.
While 24k gold is the purest form of gold, it is naturally very soft and more prone to scratching, bending, and not suitable for everyday wear. 14k gold contains 58.5% pure gold blended with other metals for added strength and durability.
Unlike gold-plated or vermeil jewelry, the gold isn't just a coating on the surface—it's part of the material itself. That means it won't fade or wear away over time. We chose 14k gold because it's made to last: durable enough for everyday wear, yet precious enough to become an heirloom.
Yes. We want your Good Lucky jewelry to be worn, cherished, and passed down for generations.
If your piece requires repair, we'll review the issue and do our best to help. Depending on the nature of the repair, a repair fee may apply.
While not all repairs may be possible, we're committed to supporting your piece whenever we can.
Please contact us at goodluckynyc@gmail.com with photos and a description of the issue.
At Good Lucky, we believe jewelry should be made with intention—from the materials we choose to the hands that bring each piece to life. We choose partners who share our values around responsible sourcing, ethical production, and exceptional craftsmanship. Our partners are members of and certified by organizations including Fairmined, the Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT), and Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA), reflecting their commitment to responsibly sourced materials, transparency, fair labor practices, and the highest standards of craftsmanship. Because the story behind a piece matters just as much as the piece itself.
About GOOD LUCKY
Growing up my mom would say, "bring you Good Lucky!" whenever she would hide little lucky charms in my bags. And as a kid, I would be embarrassed by her accented English, but now it's something I treasure. Read the full story here.
Not at all. While Good Lucky is rooted in Chinese culture, it's made for anyone who connects with the stories and meaning behind the pieces. We hope they inspire you to celebrate your own story and the things that bring you luck.
We like to think of Good Lucky pieces as reminders to have courage, take chances, and lead with intention. The rest is up to you!
